Can dead people really talk through static/white noise?

I'm watching the movie White Noise and have never heard of this as a means of communication with the dead.

There are many people who have lost loved ones and who would desperately like to be able to talk with them again or receive messages from them. This desire is understandable, but contacting the dead is not permitted by God according to the Bible. The attempt is a sin against God and results in either deception or involvement with demonic entities impersonating the dead.
I urge you, as strongly as I know how, not to dabble or get involved in anything to do with occult practices, including this one. At best, they are deceptive and fraudulent; at worst, they can involve you in matters which are satanic in origin.

"The Bible is very clear that such things are false and will only lead you away from God and His truth. In the Old Testament God commanded, 'Let no one be found among you ... who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord' (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).

"The Bible urges us to turn in faith to Christ and to seek the truth He has given us in the Bible. God's Word alone gives us spiritual truth; any other path will lead us astray. Occult practices will never tell us with finality what is beyond the grave, but because of His resurrection we can know from Christ everything we need to know."

It is critically important for anyone who has been involved in this or any other occult practice to confess it to God as a sin, renounce the practice, and turn to Jesus Christ for His forgiveness, cleansing and protection. Consultation with a Gospel-preaching pastor may be wise. A book such as "The Bondage Breaker" by Neil Anderson has been helpful to many. It would be available through a Christian bookstore.

Yeah....my girlfriend and I went to a graveyard(best times are between 3:00 and 5:00 in the morning) with a tape recorder a few times.(It was really weird,cause it worked..)There are some websites out there that can help you with that.... EVR's(Electronic Voice Recording) I believe that's what they're called.

Dead people are dead. Their vocal cords are dead. Their brain is dead. They can't move, think, or talk.

Your imagination can make something out of white noise. But remember its your imagination talking, nothing else.

Yup...I saw a behind-the-scenes thing about that movie...and they did a bit about ppl who've actually truly experienced it...scary. I didn't use a tape recorder for a yr after that movie, and I was little scared to tune a radio at night too lol

I hope they don't because I always clearly spot that white noise coming from tv's when it's mute and I hate it.

i did get some interesting sounds in a graveyard once,middle of the night,just some friends and i.did we intercept radio waves,maybe ?who knows,but it was interestingly creepy,and thats what we came for ! didnt expect anything to happen,very surprised when it did. makes u think,anyway.( we used a tape recorder).

ghosts can potentially re-materialize themselves into physical form and continue w/ life in that sense, and people have been attacked by ghosts before, spirits in the timeless dimension can play with electricity pretty easily just like ghosts

theoretically, sense white noise overloads the auditory cortex, it would shut down your physical senses and let you recognize your spiritual sense

Somehow I can't believe that they would be limited to one specific medium. This is just good fodder for a movie.
