I see you suffer from some kind of "need to be right" disorder. You should see a shrink about that because Evolution is not a FACT as you say. It has not been PROVEN as you say. Maybe you should actually read a book or two before you make a fool of yourself.

That is so true the bible was just another book written by man with his thoughts and beliefs about where we came from and how we came to be. Take the Egyptians,Romans,Greeks,Aztecs, all great civilizations all had there stories of creation some similar some completely different but all have gods so who is to say that the bible is the one and only source of origin. Then by all means pray to Zeus, Osiris,Odin,Quetzalcoatl and the rest of the gods.

If not the then follow the murderers church that that converted all those cultures through war and bloodshed the catholics and their idols of virgins and saints.Modern religion all have one thing in common donations and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ they can never get enough but I never here about the catholic, the Christians, the muslams any body for that matter help resolve starvation any where.

Yet they have the Vatican full of art, statues, and jewels of unimaginable value why do they need those things.

So yes I believe the theory of evolution it just makes more sense.

The bible is not so much a lie as just a book of fables like many other books of fables. The problem is when people take it literally. Of course common sense would dictate that water was not turned to wine or that there was no arc full of every concievable species of animal. But when it comes to faith, common sense goes out the window. Plus it is easier to just believe than it is to take the responsibilty to actually think for ones self. As for eveolution, I think there is still the matter of the "missing link" but science is closing in and with the cracking of the dna code etc, most mysteries are being revealed scientifically. But there will always be people that prefer blind faith to reason. DNA research is showing a gene that actually predisposes people to have the "need to believe". Logic is never going to change what a religious person thinks. So don't hold your breath for any of the Christians to "admit the bible is a lie" They may just be hard wired to believe it... even in face of fact and science.

It disproves a literal interpretation of the first few books of Christianity (putting forward that Earth and existence changed into created in some days). this isn't fairly damning for the religion, because it changed into first written a lot of human beings ought to make certain that Genesis changed into meant to be metaphorical in a roundabout way. It would not disproven Christianity for sure. almost all of Christians recognize evolution got here about. between them are the Pope and the Archbishop. in simple terms very small religious circles will follow their interpretation even as that interpretation contradicts nicely general reality. for sure, i imagine I ought to communicate about that for the period of technology there isn't any 'evidence'. that's an illogical theory, so technology deals with evidence. by using the common definition i assume you're using although, evolution of human beings from early apes is definitely shown. besides as this, no matter if it turned right into a clinical theory that's not 'only a theory'. A theory in technology skill an evidence of knowledge (the concept of evolution explaining the very incontrovertible reality that organisms evolve, operating example), not a large gamble like it skill in general words. A theory must be heavily supported for it to be a theory, and after that there isn't any more beneficial identify. no matter if that's shown, that's nonetheless a theory.

Its not yet a proven fact. There is not enough archaeological evidence yet to prove it beyond the shadow of a doubt, nor to label it a "fact". Evolution, however, is a proven theory and so far has no scientific challenge.

ID is a false science, its base premise - that a creator made everything the way we see it now - cannot be proven or disproven, thus the theory cannot be scientifically proven or disproven, which means its not science.

Evolution's base premise however - that species gain and lose genetic attributes through natural selection - has been proven and observed.

You named yourself Buddha and I am one of His admirers. I am sorry to say that you are not using it to what good did he do to the world. I would suggest instead of insulting the authors of the Bible regarding Genesis' creation, why don't you take deeper step to go farther than just saying we came from ape. For Buddha who is the source of understanding more of the word Reincarnation in relation to your Evolutionary belief, the Hindu was the main origin of what you obviously less know about. Man in their understanding and belief evolves more eight million times before they can reach the enlightnement called Nirvana. And if the apes is the only thing you know about man's evolution, then you are more ignorant than the BIG LIE believers. Your facts is all about what you have heard and I believe you are not even involved in the excavations to find the truth about man's origin. Stay away from boasting too much for things you less know of. Keep the little things you know and unless you really are certain and an authority on the subject, refrain from insulting people whether they know little or none at all from what you know. In other words, I urge with a big PLEASE to all readers of YAHHOO! ANSWERS to deal with everyone with respect and share what we know for all of us to learn and not to destroy each other.

If you ever get cancer or God forbid a disease that is going to kill you , then you pray to a monkey and see if he will heal you . Where did your monkey come from ? Who made him? You should go back and read Genisus again , I think you missed something, your mind was already made up before you read it , if you did. Where did it say in the Bible that they were white. Maybe your father was an ape but I was made in the image of my father God.

Brenda
The Bible doesn't have those stories because they are righteous. The Bible has those stories because they happened. Just like the holocaust, Rwanda, etc.

For the question, this will probably get me a lot of minuses, but were you there when we evolved from apes? Can I get some video footage of this happening? Maybe an eye witness? An autobiography?

Not a proven fact, but it's the best explanation for the evidence that we have.

It's unlikely that the universe was created last Thursday -- but not impossible.

Oh -- one more thing. Adam and Eve weren't white Caucasians. They were probably "Semitic" in appearance. Of course, they probably never really existed, per se, so it's moot.

And you would call me religious.

Let us know how well your body gets better.

Mine is just getting older.

Oh wait I think there is a scientific LAW about that!

A little LAW called Entropy.

But is sounds like you really know what you believe so I won't confuse you with the facts.

Oh and Hey BRENDA'S WORLD

Your wrong about the history of the Bible. Instead of the obscurity you predicted (you and Voltaire that is) it has been the #1 most widely printed book in human history.

Sounds like you already know what you believe to so I won't confuse you with the facts either.,
