Well..I have known this guy for about over a year. We dated in the past and we have stayed close even thought we are no longer boyfriend and girlfriend. My family really likes him. He is always there for me and is very respectful. But right now I am not sure if I am ready to be in a relationship. Should I give us another chance?

he sounds like a good guy... before you get back into a relationship with him make sure you are ready for one, and also think back to the reason(s) why you broke up the first go around and then go from there. you sound like you want to be with him, but you are scared of something.....maybe- i could be totally wrong.

I would probably say no. If you are not sure you are ready to be in a relationship, then you aren't. I know your family loves him, but do you? Is this the type of guy you could see yourself getting married to? If not, move on. If you are sure you are ready to be in a relationship, and he is the person, then absolutely. Remember why you broke up, and if it's something minor that can get better, than go for it when you are ready.

If you arent SURE that you are ready to be in a relationship, then no, dont give it a chance. You cant make it work with someone if you arent sure that you are ready to!
Plus, you didnt mention how you feel about this guy. Do you still like him? I dont think you should date him at this point in time, but if the feelings dont go away then consider it in the future, for sure.

Well if you know for sure your not ready do not have a relationship. You will then start to regret a lot of things.Play it by air first and see how far your frienship gets you.

if ur not ready then no...give it some more time..it might ruin ur relationship with him as a friend but that all depends on both of u.
