Yep, not only does the sodium in the drinks cause you to retain more water than you normally would, but the artificial sugar in most diet drinks causes you to get the munchies. Totally forget about drinking the full on non-diet sodas too, I say diet in moderation otherwise you'll munch your way to a larger pant size.

I don't know about bloating, but caffeine prevents you from losing weight. Oops, I'm late for my coffee break.

Yes they do. Anything with caffiene will cause you to have a bloated,distended abdomen.

yes, high in sodium.

not sure about caffine, i had to give it up for medical reasons for a while though and I lost 15 lbs. caffine is in chocolate, tea, orange soda, soda etc... you'd be surprised how many things contain caffine...

on average, a male gains 15 pounds a year from drinking soda. even if it's diet, it still makes you gain water weight
