I never thought of it that way. Your right, they exchanged their land records for a copy of Bible-the lords words. They are fine with it so be it.... Leave them alone

do you actually have a point? i don't understand.
europeans are smart indeed, and africans are stupid. i'm the first to admit that. it doesn't have anything to do with the bible, or-- as i'm imagine this is where you're leading-- with Christianity.
please don't get me started on how Christianity is *not* the white man's religion.
africans are stupid. they allowed the europeans to come in, exploit them, take their land, and pit the tribes one against the other. that's not about religion, that's about not having the mentality to know better, and being seduced by selfishness and superficiality.

Have you not heard anything about the Ethiopian Coptic Church? Founded by the apostles, and was isolated from the Catholics for over a thousand years. Then the Europeans came and took their lands.

Do you even know anything about Africa? Most of the countries occupied by warring tribes. Africans are a war people. Land didn't make them strong, it's their physical prowess that has kept them surviving and thriving.

The worst part is the way missionaries manipulate uneducated starving people in places like Africa. Dangle a sandwich in front of a mother with starving children and she will believe anything you tell her. It's almost obscene.

Praise the Lord. Now they have a land so much more amazing than what they use to own and they have Gods favour, wisdom, guidance and protection. Did you know that African missionaries go to Europe and US to evangelise? A reversal of role and a reversal of morality. Europe and US are fortunate to have brothers like these to shed light in the darkest areas of thes places.

No one lost their land because of the bible, people have lost lands because some people who carried the bible (and grossly misinterpreted it) also carried guns.

Crappy trade off. I think the native americans had a better deal with beads, tobacco and alcohol. But not by much.
