If Windows Media Player isn't working (and it may not be, I had this problem) you can try to get it to locate the appropiate codecs BUT I have never had any luck with it doing so. That being said, VLC Media Player is great, http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

go to www.download.com In the search box put this Avant DVD/DivX Player 2.12 If thats no good to you just carry on searching cnet your bound to find one that you'll like hope this helps
