This is what worked for me. I don't know if you can lose 20 pounds in 2 months - that depends on how much you need to lose overall ... but this will work and you don't need to spend a lot of money ... 2 pounds a week should be quite manageable ... here goes ....

1. Eat three nutritious meals and three snacks everyday. Cut out junk food.

2. Drink lots of water - at least 8 big glasses as day. Stop drinking soda.

3. Begin a simple weight lifting program at home. Ordinary household items (tins of soup, for example) can serve as weights for beginners.

4. Buy yourself a pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps a day.

5. Record everything you eat and all you exercise to make sure you have a "calorie deficit". Two of the sites I've included will help you do that.

6. Park at the back of the parking lot instead of close to the door. Always use stairs - never the elevator or escalator.

7. A mini stepper is an easy piece to equipment to have at home and gives great results. I bought mine at a second hand store for $4.

I hope these thoughts help. Good luck with it.

Do some lap swimming (it's great for your entire body and is a no-impact sport) and biking. Be sure to just cut down on your portions a bit and avoid the mid-night snacks. You should eat less later in the day, because you end up sleeping on those calories which end up turning into fat. There really is no need to go on an actual diet if you just eat responsibly. When you're purchasing any food look at the calories and then look at the serving size and decide if it's worth it.

Just a few random tips. Kind of tired. Good luck with it! You should do fine.

Rapid weight loss is a sign of starvation, dehydration, or illness. Healthy people loose about a pound a week of real fat. More rapid loss is almost always sheer fluid loss (dehydration).

It is simple math. There are 3500 calories in a pound of fat. You would need to burn 70,000 calories to loose 20 lbs. Over 60 days that is 1,167 calories a day or about 100 an hour while awake. Moderate exercise, like jogging, burns about 500-600 calories an hour. Routine mildly active life burns about 150.

Sounds simple, but this assumes you are taking in 0 extra calories, so if you actually eat anything, you have to factor that back into the equation and burn it off as well.

20 lbs in 2 months is doable. I would suggest that you do the weight watchers plan. It is expensive, but it is the best weight loss plan I have seen.

The basics of weight loss: burn more than you eat. Start with your current diet and reduce a few calories from it. Add some exercise and you are on your way to losing weight.

If you are eating eggs, instead of 2 eggs, try 1 whole egg and 3 egg whites. That will reduce a few calories and cholesterol.

Add more veggies to your diet. They are low in calories and are good "filler" foods.

Count every calorie that goes into your mouth.

I lost over 20 pounds in four weeks on The Abs Diet. It's a common-sense approach to eating and exercise that doesn't require you to cut out entire food groups or cook exotic meals or anything like that. You don't have to completely deprive yourself of everything you love either -- you get one "cheat meal" per week where you get to eat whatever you want. It has detailed meal plans, detailed workouts, and all kinds of good information on what kinds of foods you should avoid (and why) and what foods are weight-loss-friendly. You can get the book at any major book store, and it's hard to miss -- the cover is bright orange. I would recommend it to anyone.

I lost 43 pounds since March 1st by drinking slimfast, eating smaller portions, eating 100 calorie snacks, drinking diet soda instead of regular taking diet pills like one day weight loss vitamins and Xantra Trim and walking , and riding an excerise bike and doing wall pushups and crunches not eating chips as much or sugar filled desserts
