I have been seeing my boyfriend for a year and a half. Until recently he has never shown any interest in my space or instant messaging. However, some of his family created him a my space page. At first he was only "talking" to family and friends from his local hometown. I was a little cautious about that in the beginning but then came around. My problem is he has started "talking" to other people like from other states especially girls. He refuses to use my space when I'm around and swears it means nothing to him and he couldnt' care less about it. Should I believe him? Or be cautious something else might be going on? He's never given me any reason before now to doubt him. I love him and enjoy being around him. But I'm not sure how to approach this situation without losing him. HELP!

i have to be honest with u

i was ur boyfriend a year back

i had no interest in myspace until my sister made me a page
i went on it a couple of time and i got to see and chat with old friends of mine from high school and work
so i was like wow this is cool
it was a cool way of gettin back in contact with old friend but i have to admit i started to chat with other girls
the attention i was getting from the girls was great but i had a girlfriend
one day my gf found out i was on myspace and immediately thought i was cheating on her but i wasnt
i was only chatting with these girls nothin more nothing else
i kinda broke the bond between because i fail to inform her but all honesty i didnt cheat on her

just because ur bf is on myspace doesnt mean he s cheating on u
but remember now u need to step up now because he will get attention so u need to show him u r his number one pick n no other

thats why i didnt pick no more because my x gf made me happy but i have to be honest we r human beings we enjoy attn from different people

good luck just continue loving him

While it can be a novelty initially, and can be fun and addictive, etc, etc...

Did he tell you up front that he started the site and was chatting with the other girls, or did you discover it on your own?

Seems odd that he won't use it when you're around... sounds like he's scared you're gonna see what's really on there. Have you accessed it yourself?

Perhaps you could create a site of your own anonymously, and hit him up, without him realizing it; just to see how reacts with other females. See if he makes any offers to meet.

ask him to think about if the situation were reversed, and to think about how he would feel.

maybe tell him that you will agree to a joint account where everything is shared, and the page shows that he is obviously in a relationship.

If all else fails, tell him to lose myspace or lose you.

Same prob with my ex man. He said he was just messing around and it was n't serious. Soon later I found he was banging real life girls. So if he flirts online, you can be damn sure hes screwing around in general too
