You're definitely in a though situation, and I'm sorry to hear that you are going through all of this. My best advice to you would be to find out first if your parents are willing to let you stay with them until you at least get through treatment. If they will let you, go find a part time job. That way you have time during the day where you can set up your doctors appointments. You'll also at least be making some money, and you will also. more than likely not make enough to get your medical card and food stamps taken away. I hope everything works out for you.

You can work while on treatment for hep c. I know, I did it . I teach pre K children with special needs, 12 children ages 3-5 who are developmentally like 1-3 year olds. Many people in our local support group work while on treatment. You will have to weigh your options, but If I were you, I'd try to stay on medicaid while on treatment due to the cost of the treatment and medical care. Best wishes to you. You're doing the right thing by doing treatment, at least you'll have a fighting chance of deterring any progressive liver damage. Even if you're a nonresponder, treatment has been shown to have histologic improvement on your liver.

u do not loose your benefits when your ssi comes through. trust me, been there and done that with two kids. exact story.

it can take up to 2 years to receive ssi, they will deny your claim up to three times. hire a lawyer after they deny you the first time and that might make your claim to get ssi faster.

i would further like to state you will be accepted more for your bi-polar illness than hcv, however, more than likely, the hcv is what has caused the bi-polar! (hcv passes the blood brain barrier along with all the toxins your liver is unable to process and filter.)

you are where you need to be-at your parents. if you ever need to talk, i am here. you would be surprised at how similar our stories are.

email me heppystephy@yahoo.com and maybe we can eventually talk on the phone...i have free long distance just for this issue-HCV.

You should lookinto subsidized housing, they go by your income , so you would only have to pay a very small amount or maybe nothing at all. Also if you are on Soc Sec Disability you should apply for benefits for your child as well. The child of a disabled person is eligible for benefits as well as the parent.

My kin has been by some more beneficial than difficult situations. i recognize how you sense. My daughter got here down with a unexpected ailment that required me to take her to remedy 1/2 of the day each day for a lengthy time period. yet we both grew a lot more advantageous from it. you in basic terms ought to recollect that she is going to remedy for a reason and it may in simple terms do her good. the different day isn't a lot to sacrifice for her commonly used healthiness. in basic terms love her like there have been no the following day!
