Get another job and pay off the fine. Or talk to the judge who fined you and tell him/her what your intentions are. They may actually grant you a military ticket in trade for the fine. You never know. just ask.

the military does not aid people in paying off fines. All court ordered adjucation must be completed before one can begin the process to enlist.
In other words: you have to pay off the fine before you can enlist, plus complete any probation or other punishment handed down. And no, you can no longer ask a judge to dismiss a charge or waive any punishment just to enter the military.

I don't believe the military service is particularly interested in your unpaid fines. Being unemployed is another issue that is of little concern to the military establishment. Go see your local recruiter.

What is the fine for? a misdemeanor or a traffic citation.
Go talk to the judge. he.she may drop the fine if you sign on the dotted line.

My husband is an active duty army recruiter. You need to go to your local recruiting station and talk with them there. Or you can always call 1-800-USA ARMY. Good luck!!
