I hate my curly hair. I wish it were straight as a pin! Who likes straight hair and who likes curly? Do you curly haired ladies straighten yours?

Just to clarify, I do take very good care of my hair. I get reconstruction treatments, I get it cut regularly and I use quality shampoos and conditioners.

I had stright hair-not bone straight-a little wavy-and it was very manageable. I liked it. After 6 chemo treatments, my hair came in so curly you would think I had one of those old-lady perms. Now that I've found someone who can cut my hair to work with the curl and use all sorts of products to get rid of the frizz, it is ok. I have to wear it short, though or it puffs out. I prefer my previous hair texture. The funny thing is, 3 of my children, one a daughter, have curly hair and HATE it! I could never understand why they felt that way until mine became curly. My hairdresser says she doubts it will return to its previous straight growth.

I have combo hair. It can look cute curly and straight.
If you dont like your curly hair, can i suggest an easy at home straightener? Its called Easy Straight by Haime Munoz. It costs about $24 and can be found at your local drug store. It works and lasts about 3 months. They have another version that lasts like 2 weeks i think. But it might be worth a try. It can be used on color treated hair too.
I went to that guy's salon (Hamie Munoz) in Manhattan and saw him use the product and the results and it was AMAZING! I will also suggest a liquid product in the same line called Flat Iron Finish... u put that in ur wet hair and u get flat iron finish on blow dryed hair.

I have wavy hair, but it's easy to straighten. I always think I want curly hair until I curl it and realize I hate my hair curly. I only like curly hair when I see it on someone else. I don't like extra curly hair. Just nice natural and big curls. Only long ... really long hair or really short hair looks good with curls.

I have curly hair and I want it straight ,but a friend of mine has straight hair and wants curly.So I think it goes back to the old saying that the grass is greener on the other side.

hey i have curly hair either but i love the way it is and no point of straightening it. the only problem is you need to take lot of care for curly hair to prevent it from becoming dry

i had pin straight hair and i absolutely hated it. so i went out and got a body wave and i love it but i would be lying if i said that i didnt miss my straight hair. learn to love your curly hair!

i have naturally straight hair but i juss permed it curly and it looks hot! so i guess i like both straight and curly depends on what i feel like doing/styling my hair

You look like a beautiful woman, anything would be fine with me. Why not wear it straight sometimes and then curl it for awhile.
