Rule of thumb, spirits will keep indefinitely, fermented drinks (beer/wine) do have a shelf life and each one will be unique.
Cordials, particularly after being opened will deteriorate in flavor over time...Oxygen reacts with all the flavors and oils and stuff that they are composed of, and over time (generally past one year after opening) you'll begin noticing the quality slip.

Liquor never goes bad really, keeping it in the freezer is the best method ofpreservation and it will pour so cold when you open it, you won´t need ice. Otherwise, just keep the stopper in. For fine liqours like cognac, allow the bottle to breathe for 10 minutes before pouring.

It will not go bad unless it has a pourer on it instead of a cap. Gnats or Fruit Flys can get into a bottle with a pourer and it gets very nasty. Just keep the original lid on it and it will be good for almost ever.

anything with high alcohol content will last for decades, watch the stuff with lower alcohol content because the non-alcoholic part can go bad but it will still probably take at least a year
