It really depends on what you are looking for. Ask again and add some details about what would make you feel the most welcomed.
We have cities with just about everything in the world.
Big ones like New York City have sections that would make you think you are back in Brazil. We have warm temperature cities in the south and ones that go to 25 degrees below 0 C in the winter in the north.

i think of video clips and tv make NYC out to be much extra glamorous than it fairly is. no longer each little thing occurs in ny - what's it which you're fairly searching for? in case you opt to be 'the place each little thing occurs' that's no longer freezing chilly, bypass to l. a.. that's a much extra international and busy city than Miami. the two l. a. and Miami are sprawling automobile-centric cities nonetheless. If the element you stumble on eye-catching approximately NYC is the super-city cosmopolitan existence-variety - bypass to San Francisco. that's a similar existence-variety, however the climate is 10 situations extra helpful, the all human beings is youthful, and the ideas-set is extra laid back. while you are going to examine, you could evaluate Boston. Yeah that's freezing chilly, even nonetheless that's sort of like a mini ny crammed with college scholars. that's far extra low priced to stay there. NYC is a three hour bus holiday from there, undemanding to take weekend journeys.

I think the only city in the US that offers the typical nightlife of a Brazilian is New York. Miami does not, LA does not, Chicago does not.
regarding language....Portuguese is certainly not as well known as Spanish here...but, if you speak some English and some Spanish too, you will get by fine.
Beware...alot of people will not know where Brazil is...they won't know your first language, they won't even know what continent Brazil is on..
Go with New York. Great city. Great food. Great clubs and night life...all sorts of jobs....

You're the only one that can answer that question. Try a couple before you make a decision. I would suggest New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Santa Fe, San Francisco.
