It's good
It's bad
Personally, I think there are a lot of other things out there that are a lot worse for you. Supposedly according to this doctor Perricone, coffee raises cortisol levels in the body, which is a stress hormone that supposedly "makes you fat" He also claims that if you substitute green tea for coffee, and make no other changes, you can lose 10 pounds in a month. Now.....I find this really really hard to believe. Coffee has no calories, less calories make you lose weight in my book. According to this guy, it's the "natural acid" in coffee thats bad. Sounds like a bunch of sh*t to me
Like everything else in this universe (except love of course!) moderation, moderation moderation is key

That depends on who you ask and what time of the day you ask it. I have heard from experts saying a cup or two a day is good.. others saying it is bad.. You know what I mean....
I continue to drink my coffee as (because) I love coffee. I do believe, however, that in general, coffee (because of the caffeine) is not really good for a person but what the heck.. a cup or two a day is NOT going to hurt you.

I would say if you're going to drink coffee, stick to organic for sure because it's heavily sprayed and just drink maybe 2 cups a day. The best book I ever read on the subject of caffeine and coffee is Caffeine Blues and I would recommend it. He is against caffeine and has a lot of information on why you should avoid it, esp. if you have any mental, digestive, heart, liver or kidney problems.

coffee is undesirable purely because of the caffeine.yet maximum sodas are in simple terms as loaded with caffeine. A mocha latte each and every often times won't harm you, nor will a cup of coffee an afternoon or a soda an afternoon. it is once you initiate eating countless any of them that it is not stable for you. Caffeine will enhance blood sugar, adrenaline, and heart value. stable for alertness; undesirable ordinary.

There will always be conflicting reports on everything. I don't know of anything in coffee that is good for you, but as long as you don't drink too much, its not that bad for you either. (unless you are a teenager.)
Everything in moderation.

If you drink it in moderation you are fine. It's bad for you when you drink an excessive amount each day. Like 2 pots a day is gonna do more harm. A few cups isn't going to hurt you.

Hi there!
I would say no. It gets you addicted to caffeine, which hurts sleeping patterns and can then make you sleepy when you don't have it. Also, it stains your teeth.
Nowadays, the starbucks-type coffee contains a lot of calories, which contributes to weight gain.
Personally, I avoid it like the plague.
Good luck on your diet and fitness goals!

Like with anything, too much is bad for you. But coffee has antioxidants in it. 2-4 cups a day is good.
In studies, decaffeinated coffee has shown to increase levels of LDL cholesterol.

The question is: If I don't have any in the morning, is that good or bad for YOU? And the answer is: That is bad, bad, bad, bad, BAD for you, especially if you happen to work with me, live with me, look at me, pass me on the street, or try and talk to me in that cheerfull morning tone some losers have in the a.m.
