You seem like a very conscientious person who understands the intricate nature of loving someone. It is about give and take. If you are doing all the giving and getting nothing in return, then love is not there.
The reciprocal nature of love is what makes it so special and so hard to find. You are obviously existing on a deeper level than she is with this relationship, and you should be pissed. In fact, you should kick her to the curb.
Do you really want to spend the rest of your days chatting away with someone who is not on your level?? Makes no sense to torture yourself, man. I have had these types of women, and they are no good.
Being a caring and effective communicator is essential in any relationship whether it is BF/GF, Father/Son, Buddy/Buddy, etc...
and if you don't have it, I don't see how it can possibly work out to your satisfaction.
Tell her point blank what is irking you. I PROMISE that her answer will tell you everything you need to know.
Peace

Since I don't know her, she possibly could be shy...But with what you wrote...that's seems pretty unusual because friends ask about each other and listen. Have you discussed this issue with her in a positive, kind way?
She could be just interested in what she gets out of the relationship.
It sound like you need to be with somone who exchanges meaningful conversation that help both to know each other better.

Hey I think she does care about you if she didn't she would not spend as much time with you as she does. Girls are more of a talk about themselfs type.
Have you tried talking to her about how you feel. We girls usually do not mean to make you feel as if we dont care. You should really try talking it over it might help!!

I can understand your point of view. But just keep in mind that just because she is female, does not automatically make her sentimental. Maybe she's just not that type of person.
You could also mention this to her and say something like : What's up with you never asking ME any questions. Don't say it rudely, jokingly would be better.

You need to ask your girlfriend this question. It could be she is clueless about what kind of attention you need. Maybe she is doing what she knows how to do in the relationship, and once she knows better...she will respond to you better. Sharing intimate feelings is important, and a learned skill. If she likes you, she will learn how to communicate better. If she doesn't express much interest in learning how to please you, you're better off knowing this sooner than later.

Some people are more selfish than others. You need to consider whether you enjoy spending time with her as she is - people don't change.

Don't worry about it. Discussing "how your day went" is for old married couples. Not being subjected to the third-degree enables you to control the relationship.

Stop asking her questions like How her day was. Stop (visibally) caring.. of course you will still care, but dont show it... that might modivate her to ask you whats wrong, so then you can tell her.

give her a chance to awnser some of your questions but also sometime to think and ask you some things. if it bothers you so much you should tell her. maybe she doesn't realize it is such a big deal to you. :) she cares about you i am sure
