But guess not, so now I need to know how to get checks...lol, I know sound dumb. But yea, I never had to deal with these things until now. Thanks!

Call or go by your credit union. They can give you counter checks to use until you get a box of regular checks. But, all merchants hate counter checks. Many refuse to take them.

You can order checks directly through the credit union. They will have a book of sample checks that you look through and choose which check design you would like. You can place your order through the teller and the teller will order the checks for you. They will arrive at your home in one week or so.

After you receive your checks that you ordered from your bank, it will now be much easier and cheaper to order your checks online.

I myself use libertychecks.com

They service credit unions. They actually service my credit union and my check reorder form has their web address and all other information needed to order checks on the internet.

There are many other companies that you can order checks from. Some of them offer better rates than the printer I use, but usually its only for that first order.

If your credit card payment is due now, it is probably best to purchase a money order for the amount due and mail it to them with the statement.

Call the credit union and they will put in an order for you. Or you can probably order from the Credit Union website (my CU has this capability) If you don't use many checks, you may be able to go to the credit union branch and request a "counter" check.

If you don't want to order checks look and see if you can pay your cc bill online. Maybe on the back of the card or on the bill you may see a website. Then you won't have to order checks if that is the only reason you use them...and if you need them try www.checksunlimted.com. Ordering checks from the CU or the bank can be costly. You can get them at a discounted rated there.

Contact your credit union to order checks. And they can probably also issue you some temporary checks so you can pay bills, etc.

Don't order them through the bank or credit union. They'll charge you an arm & a leg.

well, first of all you can call your credit card company and sign up for automatic withdrawal. and you can get your checks simply at the bank. go there and tell them that you need those. they should make them in a week or so. plus you can choose a design:) that's great:)

what do you send to your cc? just the cc statement?
you have to order your checking book from your bank and if you open new checking account, they usually provide you with few complimentary checks for you to use.
