Atheists are synonymous with liberals. They don't have logical arguments or evidence to back up their claims.
All of them say,"prove the bible", yet they don't even lay any logical explanations in proving evolution. They just say 'science'. Well, science is flawed in many ways and scientists have to be funded by tax payers to keep their job, so they just make up a bunch of theories towards getting their 15 minutes of fame and gaining notoriety. It is all an endless cycle.
Ignore Atheists because they will be judged one day by God and it makes no sense trying to help such lost people. Perhaps they are already living in their own "Hell on Earth". Something goes wrong in an Atheists life and then they all of a sudden drop the need for a deity to believe in. Such fair weather fans will face Judgment Day with scorn and ridicule by the Ultimate Judge.

Look up Epic of Gilgamesh... Flood story from before the time of Noah. Then look at Code of Hammurabi... laws written down by a king of Babylon, long before Moses was born. The Bible is not proof of anything. There are many things out there that were written long before the Bible... so I do not see why those things are not proof of those Gods. Egyptian Book of the Dead preceeds the Bible by several hundreds of yrs (if not millennia). And all of these are claimed to be inspired by those Gods... they are also claimed by it's followers to 100% true. Pitted against the Bible and other writings, there is absolutely no way to prove any of them. Other than to say they are proof the writers believed in the things they wrote about. And that's all.

Well I'm not an athiest, but what kind of proof is there that the Bible is the word of God? Yes, I agree with you that the WORLD has proof of God, but the Bible is only borrowed stories from the Egyptian Book of the Dead and a loose history mingled into it.

What proof?
There's about as much proof of the bible as there is of the Greek gods, Egyptian gods, etc.
Have you ever read the creation and flood myths of other religions? They are all basically the same. The only differences are those that are due to physicall differences such as climate.
Creative stories, that's about all.

What proof are you talking about? I've always wondered how anyone can believe in the Bible with absolutely no proof.
The fact that the world and everything in it are here is not proof. That's like a kid saying, "Of course there's a Santa Claus. How else did all these presents get here?"

The "Bible" is just a history book. No proof there.
A combination of old Jewish laws, roman traditions and recorder stories of Christians. written, transcribed, embellished and edited for content by MEN to control their followers.
The Atheist are just arrogant because religious followers are corrupt. I have no idea I'm sure there are many excuses. But Neudow (sp) really upsets me.

and as an aside to This 1/2 of...I just looked in Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 11th edition, printed in 2003 and couldn't find anything like what you said. And why would a Synonym Finder have an entire definition in it? So could you please be a little more specific as to what you are talking about?

So...where in the world is this elusive "proof"?
I checked out some websites (granted, not thoroughly yet) that people had linked....but all I found was more propaganda and attacks on evoltuion as "proof". I don't think I need to check those sites out more thoroughly, if they had ACTUAL proof, wouldn't they be shouting it from the rooftops?

proof what do you call proof. if you can provide me with scientific information i would . if you believe that a 60 year old man built a giant boat and gathered 2 of every animal your crazy. if there was one god why are their so many religion. man made god not the other way around. if an offspring of yours was gay would you believe that he is going to hell. ahh people like you make me sick we evolved form monkeys no all mighty power put us here.

Bible shows different ways how people experiences God. I think we really have no "proofs" of God's existence, unless we experience it! Faith is only to believe that we can experience it!
Sacred texts are useful, but are not God!
