Timely question.
I know, but not sure I can make sense out of it.
Lust is the physical desire to copulate with someone; it involves physical arousal,and to fantasizing about having sex with someone. Lust may involve casual sexual intercourse.
Love is emotional, and on a higher plane. While sex is a major part of love, love transcends sexual needs and tastes. Love is when you want to be in another persons company ll the time, not for sex, but to share feelings, ides, thoughts, hopes, dreams, respecting the other persons hopes and dreams, and wanting to share everything.
Love is long-lasting.
Lust wears thin after a time.
I think that biologically, we were made in such a way that lust would bring men and women together; life had to be procreated, Love grew out of that lust so that families could be nurtured in a loving environment. If not for lust, we might ignore the opposite sex!
Read these posts and see; when people are "in relationships" and have children, they often complain that their partner is shacking up with someone else. What happened is that they were in a lust relationship; one that satisfied physical ( sexual) needs, but did not evolve into a loving relationship. The children lose out!

Lust is a reaction one gives when a hidden desire has been identified into something physical such as a sexual encounter,obtaining of power or materialistic things. Lust can also be the freedom that comes from complete emotional disregards.
Love is not a destination...one does not make a reservation to get there or finds it with a map, love is not an emotion no matter how much emotions get involved. And finally love is not a feeling for feelings come and go. No my dear love is at it's core...a CHOICE!
LOVE is the act of CHOOSING to be responsible for SOMEONE ELSE'S emotions. That's right. The act of DESIRING to be the BLAME for the Good things and most importantly theBAD.

I would say if your in love then...you can see your self with the person for a long time and lust..would be hooking up with them and then maybe being friends. I also think that it is true that lust can turn into love ..but I might just be the only one.

Lust just desires the sex and admires the good looks and disregards the inner being. Love will wait for the sex, loves the whole person inside and out. And love doesn't necessarily care about the looks. Always choose love over lust.

Love makes you feel like you cant live without that person and when he or she touches you you get goose bumps. All you think about when your apart from one other is being togeather. You pray every day to keep your love one safe so you can have another day with them. There are so many things about love. But lust is just a feeling that can go away any day. Lust is just good sex without love.

Love is about feeling a special way about a whole person. Lust is about taking care of sexual needs only. The rest of the person does not matter.
