these sects of Christianity are much more evangelical than mainstream Christianity, that is there is an emphasis to go out and spread the message of God to those unbelievers. Because of that emphasis, there is a strong push to make others believe as they believe. Christ's message was indeed to 'go therefore and teach all nations', and that's what they're doing.
although i at times protest against their methods, they are trying to embody Christ's message, whereas most mainstream (non-denominational, non-descript) Christians are just satisfied to go to church every easter and not really teach ppl about God. As Christians, we are commanded to do that (it's not just a strong suggestion). But, I believe that we can teach ppl about God by various ways, not just handing out pamphlets.. but by living a very virtuous and Spirit-filled life, where ppl become interested in our peace.

Um over-generalize much?
As an atheist, I don't find the groups you mention any more obnoxious that any other of the religious nut-cases that assume everyone who doesn't believe and live exactly as they think are evil (or "angry and pessimistic" for that matter -- as we were accused of being in another question).
In all religions and sects there are the pushy and regimental, as well as the tolerant and reasonably intelligent.
You notice the more obnoxious members because they are the ones to make a big deal out of it. The quieter members go unnoticed.

I am Mormon and we don't tell anyone they are going to Hell. We do not believe that you go to hell for not being part of our religion, that doesn't even make sense. I picked The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (the real name of the church) because they believe in the Bible and focus a lot on what Jesus did for us by dying on the cross and being resurrected. They have many activities for the youth every month such as dances, and different activities. They have great play dates for all our little children. They are very open to non-members coming to the church, and actually encourage it. Also in the Bible it mentions several things that Jesus Christ church should look like and the LDS church was the only church I found that followed these things, such as not paying clergy members. I dont have anything against others religions. I think you should gom to a church that studies the Bible and is a non-judgemental church that doesn't go around telling everyone else they are going to Hell.

You are making a statement based only on your personal experiences, and you say they are ALWAYS prejudgemental. No they aren't. I know some Mormons and Adventists and they are very nice and open minded people. They don't push their beliefs on me or another else. We are able to openly discuss our views and respect them and leave it at that.
You may have met some people that aren't nice but you can't say that all of the people in that religion are not nice. And many Christians aren't nice either. It's hard to live by your religious rules every day when there are so many different ones out there and we're trying to tell each other that the other person is wrong.
Can't we ALL just be nice!?

The nature of the true faith of Christianity will include facets of forgiveness, tolerance, love, and so forth.
But if a religion was actually formed under the influence of a counterfeiter, therefore designed to resemble Christianity but actually teach different beliefs, then it woould take on the resemblance of it's founder's nature.
If the nature of the faith then is accusatory against Truth seekers, and judgemental of followers of the Way, exclusive, selfish, demanding...then it would be counterfeit Christianity, not the real thing. And who is the great Accuser? the Father of lies? The Deceiver? Then you know who they are really following.

As to Mormons and Jehovah's, they're massively diverse, yet they do proportion one element in straightforward: they seem to be a non secular sect that prepare in accordance to heresies condemned by ability of the Church that Jesus gave us to belong to, that's the single that has grow to be usually used in cutting-part situations because of the fact the single, Holy, Apostolic, Roman and Catholic (from the Greek notice Katholikos, which ability standard) Church. The specifics of each can actual be stumbled on on information superhighway web content which you will detect utilising information superhighway seek engines with each and each of their names yet one element is sparkling with regard to the Jehova's and that's that they've self assurance that guy can the two redeem and save himself on his very own and that Jesus became in basic terms yet another prophet, albeit the final and better of the prophets.

This question seems intended primarily to demean Jehovah's Witnesses, and pretend that there is some disconnect between their worship and true Christianity.
In particular, Trinitarians seem to pretend that Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christian. Trinitarians use an artificial, trinity-specific definition of the term "Christian" which excludes anyone who does not believe that Jesus is God Himself, rather than the Son of God. Interestingly, pagans in the first century pretended that Christ's followers were Atheists(!) because the Christians had a somewhat different idea from the pagans about the nature of God.
Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Both secular dictionaries and disinterested theologians acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion.
The Trinitarian arguments are intended to insult and demean Jehovah's Witnesses, rather than to give a Scripturally accurate understanding of the term "Christian".
In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all the times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"
(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.
(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”
(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name
So why do anti-Witnesses try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because anti-Witnesses recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

I have not found in my experience that either Jehovah's Witness's or Mormon's have been pushy at all, but both groups have been open to discussing both sides of the arguments.perhaps you have just had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the ones that ARE pushy.

I find that all Christians, at least the devout ones, are like this. Really, I find that the most common sects are just as bad as the more cultish sects of Christianity, tolerance wise.

I'm sorry that you have had such unfortunate experiences, but not all of them are like. I am sure that not all people in these religions aren't quite as overbearing and overzealous as those you have met. I hope that future experiences are better for you :)
