Who did people worship the most before they created god?

A lot of the early peoples worshiped the sun and the moon and the earth mother. They realized that the sun and earth were necessary to grow successful crops. They worshiped old pagan gods that were based on the Greek mythologies too.

people didnt create God
people worshiped all manner of things before developing organized religions with recognized deities and traditions. The people that worshiped the God Jews, Christians and Muslims recognize have always worshiped him. Other people worshiped so many others deities that I dont think you could single one out.
