First point is .. you should not feel guilty .. If you feel whatever you are doing is justified .. Its your life and you have the complete right to live it ...
Second .. its obvious .. that a 45 (seems to be 50) year old man may have a daughter of 25 (actually 30) .. and so ppl may not care for it .. and of course .. Father and daughters use to be much closer than Mom and son ..
Third .. That old .. very old idea ... that women use to loose the ability of sex after her menopause but the males use to have it ever .. so what shall the 32 year old guy do with a lady .. who is gonna have her menopause or already had it ? She can't even give him a baby .. and marriage is mostly about sex and reproduction. Maybe that's why it seems to be odd for some people who use to look at !
Well .. forget all these things .. If you love him and he really loves you .. you are happy .. nothing could be barrier for it .. no doubt .. you have taken a brave step .. but have that guts to be with that ..
Enjoy !

Before I met my husband I dated a man for 4 1/2 years who was 15 years younger then myself. I was 35 and he was 20. I never felt people were looking at me. It could be because I look much younger then my age and he looked older. We broke up because he was lazy and couldn't hold a job and I wasn't into supporting him. We were girlfriend and boyfriend, not mother and son.
I am now very happily married to a man who is 23 years older then me. He is 63 and I am 40. We are extremely happy.
As far as I am concerned, either way is acceptable as long as you are in love.

I think it is because it is more common to see the older man and the younger women. shouldn't be any difference in which way it goes though. I think if a couple are happy together and really love each other than it makes no difference about age. If you and your b/f are happy, that's all that matters. don't worry about what others think.

It's not really OK. Trust me. People look at the old geezer, too.
My advice - Stop worrying about who's looking/not looking cuz there'll always be someone who doesn't approve. You're grown enough to know that people will find anything to knock you down with. And a lot of people are probably jealous of the relationship. Ignore these toxic people and live life.
