I guess it depends on what kind of love you are talking about. To get to the real eternal heaven you will have to become a true lover of God. This is true no matter how you feel about Jesus, Buddha, or Gandhi.

Gandhi's movement was somewhat spiritual, but not totally. Much of his program was political. Correct me if I am off somehow by stating this.

I believe in Jesus is the key words for you, and if you have excepted Jesus as your savior and repented of your sins, which we have all sinned. But I feel that you believing in Jesus and loving him as you do. You probably have done these things and someday I will see you in our new home. I wanted to add to this that God says in the bible that He is a jealous God and there should be no other gods before Him. I would think that would be Gandhi or Buddha.

No they wont let you into Heaven ,
because your love exceeds the boundries of Christianity
and to them Jesus is supernatural
so from a Christian point of view you love to much and believe too little.

I didn't think the afterlife was so exclusive.

Your soul will go where it pleases as have all the other souls that have moved on since the dawn of time. That is the nature of energy. It is a physical release of the last electrical energy put out by our physical beings. What you choose to do after you've shuffled off your mortal coil is your business!

Peace. ;-)

No, dear. You must confess that Jesus is Lord, that means Lord over Gandhi, Buddha, and everyone else. I think many people respect Jesus, but that doesn't lead to salvation.

No. I don't have time to get into detail, but I encourage you to read the book of John. It can answer many of your salvation questions as can the rest of the bible, but a good place to start is John.

John 14:6 says that no one comes to God except through Jesus.

Neither Gandhi nor Buddha rose from the dead. Neither can save you. Love for Jesus cannot save you unless it drives you to your knees to ask forgiveness for your sins through His blood sacrifice. Are you going to heaven? You tell me.

John 3:18 says He that believeth on him is not condemnded but he that believeth NOT is condemned already, because he hath not believe the name of the only begotten son of God,19.Ant this is the condemntation that light is come into the world and the men loved darkness rather than light because there deeds were evil.

So the bible says you will, Jesus is the way and the door.

You will have eternal life and will go to heaven when you die ONLY if you pray to make Jesus Christ Lord and Savior of your life and grow in your relationship with Him. You can only get salvation through the Son of God Jesus Christ because God's Word says so.

You must "believe" if you want to go to heaven. This means that you must believe that Jesus is the son of God and he is resurrected and through him you can reach heaven. If you don't believe he's supernatural, you don't believe he won death and you don't believe he open the gates of heaven, so you don't believe in heaven! And do you want to go there? :)
