I recognize that the vast majority of Mormons do not practice polygamy. For those polygamists that use religion as a tool to justify this practice I state, that it is enslavement of those women.

You are right The Mormon Church does not allow ANY type of polygamy as of quite awhile ago. These women that you mention are enslaved, actually believe that this is OK cause it is the only life that they have known(most of them have been raised in this belief)and although some have broke out of this life SO many still remain.Polygamy is illegal in most states and local law officials will uphold this law if they have any type of proof. But then the real struggle start when these women try to enter OUR version of life.

You do not understand allot about this life style if you think it's about enslaving women. This is a biblical way of life that brings peace and unity. Women are not jealous of each other in this life style they are supporters of each other in every day life. They do all they can to help and serve each other. It's not about the man and his needs (sex) even though they serve him too. What you consider enslavement is servitude with joy. It's like having a sister that you can turn to at any hour for any reason when you need help. Not being selfish, and afraid that a man won't love you because he loves some one else. Face it Ladies you can like it or not your Heads look at other women, but if you live a life that teaches not to be jealous because this is a man's nature you won't have to fight for his attention he will give it you when he wants to, and you will have a friend to hang out with when he's at work or with some one else. Jealousy is not a beautiful characteristic, and a man likes it when a women is confident enough that she dose not use it.

Thank-you not many people make a public Apology. The last one I can remember(Geared to the Mormon Church) was one from a Governor of a state that had driven The early Mormons out and that was a few years ago.
