How do I extend text / double space on a calendar I'm creating on Microsoft Excel?

I want to put a sentence straight across a week...except it's not stretching out. Help!

well if you have any text in the cell after it it will not extend
you can merge your cells to go as far as you want
but what i like to do for lenghty cells is right click cell got to formate cells
click on the top tab that says alignment
then under where it says Text control
select the Wrap text box then click okay and your set!

I don't think it's the problem, but to add a complete line, right-click on the line number and select "Insert row".

I think you rather have multiple lines in a single cell. If it's the case, press "Ctrl" key while hitting "Enter".

If it's not the case, be more precise in your question :)

If what you want is to avoid "wrapping" then rightclick, Format Cells.., Allignment and then uncheck Wrap Text.

The alternative is to use Merge cells (the --a-- icon in the toolbar)
