I was talking to this girl the other day, and I have had a feeling for a while that she wants to be more than friends. I was told by a friend to watch where she looked when talking to me alone, but I noticed along with definitely prolonged eye contact that she would occasionally look down, look away, and then look back at me. I thought she was looking at my stomach or something, so I looked down to see if something was wrong. I then got online later and read something about the "love gaze" and a triangle that a love interest will make. They will look at both eyes and then at somewhere around the chin. Also, I heard she could have been looking at my lips. Any help girls? If you were talking to a guy with prolonged eye contact, where would you look when looking down? Also, why would you look down? I am just curious for more help. Thanks in advance!!

My guess is that she probably DOES like you. When I'm not attracted to someone, eye contact is no problem. But when I AM I am kinda shy and can only hold the eye contact for short periods of time. Where she was looking isn't important...if she's nervous, she just had to look away for a second! Go for it, cause I think she wants you!

Prolong eye contacts means she has a high interest in you romantically, however that does not guarantee you a relationship.
But it does give you a better chance to start a relationship with her, as long as you treat her nice and let her know your feelings for her.
But yes, definitely prolong eye contact means interest. That's for sure.

This stuff isn't always true. She might have an eye issue where she needs glasses and can't keep looking at you. You never know.
If you get the feeling she likes you, just keep talking to her. Good luck.

She probably was nervous and kept looking down to not stare at you. I also don't like the feeling of having to stare at someone for too long. Because if I am looking at you, you are looking at me...that's when I get nervous. Trust you instincts, if you like her, give it a shot.

When I am talking to man who I like, I can't really look at his eyes. My eyes will go to other things around us or look at the thrid person. I don't know what to talk to him or I may ask him some stupid questions.

If she looks in your eyes deeply, most likely she at least finds you interesting and attractive. When she looks away, it is probably that she gets uncomfortable, as it is kind of staring.

sometimes its just hard to keep eye contact and you just look where ever your eyes take you

that means she likes you...she could be really shy....but moslty becasue she likes you...
