im 42 yrs old and because of pain discomfort standing or sitting for long periods i havent worked since 96 or 97...i finally got some form or insurance and saw a doctor to finally be diagnoised....my mom swears because of not standing or sitting very long and constant migrains....and now diagnoises....should have no problem...btw....ive been on surviors benifits sit husband died in 94

You SHOULD be able to get disability for it...unfortunately, if you can find a placement that allows for sitting/standing for LESS period of time, they might make you work instead of giving you disability benefits....insurance companies are notorious for being cruel to people in pain!!! Believe me, I've worked as a health care professional for over 5 years now, and I've seen people get stabbed in the back by their insurance companies.

If you can prove that you CANNOT work at ALL, then you'll for sure be able to get them...otherwise, fight for your rights!

Yes, you can, but you will be denied the first time. It may take years to prove it. We have a patient who's on his fourth year of trying to prove his injuries.
