This is one of those questions that occurred to you while you lay on one with nothing to do but think, isn't it? That question always occurs to me (Has anyone ever died here?) in the middle of the night while I'm lying in a hotel room.

Yes - there was a girl who was tanning before her prom and went to a few different places in the same day - thinking this would speed up her tan....and was found dead in the tanning bed - doing this basically fried her organs....

I don't know but just think if a bad lightening storm came while someone was in it. OUCH
