ok theres someone who i like a bit but it puts me off when he pays me attention. i want a boyfriend who hardly pays me any attention, takes things very unserious, hardly sees me, is just there for fun. i wouldnt even care that much if he cheated on me as long as it wasnt too serious or often. why do i want this i know its wrong?

also the idea of romance and long term seriousness makes me get like an extreme fear in my stomach. i would get terrified of like valentines and anniversaries etc.

You are so much like me that it's scary! I like this guy, and he wants to spend all this time with me but I get irritated when he does...I just to hang out and see him when i want to. (sounds like you right?) I'll tell you what I did. Every time the guy wanted to be all up under me, I told him I was busy. After awhile, he stopped asking...when he did...I started asking him and getting my way because when I wanted to see him, he would say yes, but if he wanted to see me I would say no. We are on the same page now. It took awhile, but he knows it's my or the highway. He calls me selfish, but he deals with me because he wants to see me and gets delighted when he does see me.

i think you have a fear of comitment, thats why you want a fella who is not around all the time. i used to be like that too, but then i met this guy who really treated me like a million dollors, now i am happily married and i soon hope to have kids soon too.
life changes people and im sure that you will find love one day that will let you want to share it.
