No, I am not trying to get rid of my cat, nor am I trying to buy one. I was just wondering if they are worth anything at all, because I have heard that they are rare.

i think this depends on if they are some kind of purebreed or not...i once saw an orange scottish fold at cat show, me and my mom really wanted it, but it cost over 200 so it just depends on what kind of cat

About 80% of orange tabbies are male, but that does not make the females truly valuable. Free cats are everywhere. Just enjoy your oddball for what she is!

Most orange cats are males as the orange color gene is at least partially sex-linked. However; your cat is not really worth much except as a well loved pet or a good mouse catcher.

Female orange tabbies are sort of uncommon, but not really "rare."

If you had a male calico, that would be rare!

tabbys are very popular and can find them everywhere so probably not a whole lot. are you trying to sell yours or you looking to buy. if your looking to buy you can go to your local shelter and find plenty of them.
