My first suggestion is

Memento praeteritorum ut postera mutes.
Literally "Remember the former things, that you may change the future things"
But I think the following is a more Roman way of putting it

Memento praeteritorum ad postera mutanda.
Literally "Remember the former things towards getting the future things changed"
