Im 16, just starting my A-Levels, and the problem is that im too lazy!
It sounds pathetic i know, but i just love my junk! I have no self control over cravings, and although i dont eat lots, i was just cursed with one of those bodies that puts on all the calories from the thing i just ate!
I have periods when i will start a routine of exercise, or a healthier diet, but i never stick to it! Also because my friends can eat what they want, and my family, i have tempation everywhere! There defently isnt any escape if my home is full of tempation!
Please could i get advice on small exercise routines that i can do in between homework, my social life and school, i would be most grateful!

Here's an easy diet...don't eat anything after 6pm. Prior to that you can eat whatever you want. But after 6pm, don't eat anything other than drink water until the next morning. I'm sure you've heard about not eating 2 hours prior to sleep to be healthier. This is similar except it requires longer than 2 hours. A friend of mine lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks this way. And many others I know have lost weight with this diet. However, if you have any stomach acid problem, do not try this.

well because you are young your metobolism is still very high and you really know what the truth is and you said it yourself,but you have to find a way to make the simple tasks a little harder it is very true that the only real way too lose wiehgt is to exercise or just make sure your body is using more calories than you are putting in.
mostly though its trying to get into new habits that seem very boring too you and that's gonna be the biggest hurdle.
but here are some idea's too think about.
you dont neccessarily have to do heart pumping work out's it burns calorie's faster if you do but not absolutely necessary.
try walikg home from school once or twice a week with a friend and let you parents know you are walking and what routes you are taking(just too be safe)
turn everyday chores in to an exercise, do deep knee bends to pick up laundry baskets from the floor to the wash tub,or putting away can's of food after you have been too market,do stretching exercises to pick items from the floor like the dust pan after sweeping. and you dont have too lift wieghts to get good exercise just simply getting up and doing some stretching for about twenty minuts every other day, going for walks around the block you just have to move those muscle's and you will start burning calories, but the main thing is you have to stay with it and dont expect over night miracles it might take weeks or months and possibly years depending on your calorie intake and output for some it's real easy for other's its hard - but most importantly make sure you are doing this for you and not because of some rude comment somebody made or because of something you saw on television.
do this because it will make you happy or unless you were told by a doctor to do so.
if you can see a doctor he will give you the best advice on what's good for you and if you cant see a doctor talk to your school r.n. (nurse) he /she might also have some good advice for you
mostly just live and be the best person you can be.
best wishes for you in whatever changes you chose too make
cheers!!!!

Really the only thing you can do is change your eating habits and get regular exercise. There is no "miracle diet" that you can go on where you won't gain the weight back after you go off the diet. Drink lots of water, cut back on the sugar and fat, eat more lean protein like chicken and fish, and eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Keep in mind that some veggies and all fruits have sugar in them, although it is a natural sugar, it is still sugar. Moderation is key.

Today there is too much information available on losing weight that has become more confusing and sometimes difficult to follow. It’s actually very easy to lose weight if you follow my weight loss tips.

* Be in right frame of mind
Before you can start any diet program you need to be in the right frame of mind. If you do not feel good about yourself you probably will not want to choose healthy foods. You cannot expect the act of going on a diet to make you feel better about yourself. The only way you can choose to eat a healthy diet to lose weight is if you have a positive self-image.

* Eat whole food
Top weight loss tips
Eat whole foods that are as natural as possible. When you eat whole foods that are full of nutrients your body will know how much to eat and how much not to eat. You do not have to count calories because your body is a wonderful machine.

* Eat fresh fruit
Eat at least two servings of fresh fruit every day. Choose whatever type of fruit is in season.

* Drink enough water
Drink the best weight loss supplement known to man, water. Most people do not know the difference from being hungry for food or thirsty for water. A great deal of times people eat when they should drink. Most likely you will not feel as hungry if you are getting enough water. You will be satisfying the thirst, which is confused for hunger. Water also helps you digest food better. Drinking water before you eat will help fill you up.

* Always chew your food
Always chew your food well. Chewing your food well will ensure that you get the most nutrients out of your food. Getting the most nutrients will satisfy your body therefore you will eat less. Another benefit of chewing well is that it helps aid in digestion.

* Take small meals
Eat small, frequent meals in a day. Large meals tax your digestion system, making it work harder. Taking too much time in between meals makes you hungrier for the next meal.

* Include protein at meal
Include good sources of protein at meal, chicken, fish, legumes, peanut, cottage cheese, eggs or yogurt.

* Shut off TV while eating
Shut off the TV whenever you eat – that includes meals and snacks. Studies show that we automatically eat larger portions when we snack in front of the tube, and typically those foods are high in fat and sugar, which means excess calories!

* Increase your physical activity
Increase your physical activity. Most people are over weight because of a lack of physical activity. Start walking more, bicycling, walks your dog for longer periods of time, swim, dance and leave the car at home when you can. It’s important that you choose a physical activity that you enjoy because you’ll stick with it.

Whether 16 or 60, there is no way getting around the hard discipline it takes to be thin. You definitely have to watch calories. I also love sweets but try to save one day in which I can pig out. That way I don't feel as though I'm cheating myself. You also have to keep moving, moving, moving. If you don't have a regular exercise plan, at least avoid sitting down much such as watching TV or computers. Move, move, move. Hormones are tough on women at any age. Try to especially watch the week before your period as that is when you tend to retain water.

A good though. No food tastes as good as the feeling of being thin.
