Blondes......?

Why are blondes considered dumb? Huh? I have friends that are brunettes and they are total ditzes.

REAL ANSWER: I know this because I wrote a paper on it back in high school.

Natural blondes as adults are very rare. When motion pictures started, most actresses colored their hair very blonde because it was really shiny on the black and white screen. As a result, alot of women started to color their hair blonde.

In the 1920s, 30s, & 40s, technology and chemicals used to color were crude. Many people were poor, and tried to color at home. Many people would mix unhealthy amounts of chemicals, or the wrong combinations of chemicals, and the vapors would, literally, retard them.

Now, a woman who starts coloring her hair blonde would have to touch up once a month or roots would be obviously visible, and they would have been considered "loose" for coloring their hair.
Twelve exposures of these chemicals a year combined with sometimes 10 to 40 years of coloring leaves a woman, well, dumb.

that is a good question.... it probably all started with one person who was blonde and just happened to be dumb... but you're right that lots of brunettes act that way too

I don't know why, but its bad for all the blondes because they die there hair brunettes so they don't get called dumb. All of my friends that were blondes died there hairs. In my school there are only like 10 people who have blonde hair out of 1,200 kids. It really is hurtfull that blonde hair is going extinct.

I am not totallyl sure but I was a blonde for like five years of my life and now I am a brunnette but I get moments almost everyone is born blonde so we're all naturally blonde

I thinks its a stereotype that began God knows how long ago that somehow mananged to stick. It seems on average that there are more ditzy blondes than brunettes, but who knows.

It's because alot of movie stars that played sluts in the beginning of film had bleached blonde hair: think Marilyn Monroe, Zsa Zsa Gabor, etc.

Cause when they think of safe sex they lock the car door.

Cause they drown if you put a scratch and sniff on the bottom of the pool

Cause they use white-out on the computer monitor

Cause the first thing they do in the morning is get out of their boyfriends backseat.
