I take it your not paying American taxes for these people are you ?? If NOT then butt out of OUR (American) business !!!!!!!!!
And NO we aren't screaming for help....we are screaming at our gov. to do something about the Invasion.....cause if they don't then all heck will be let loose.....believe this. There are Americans right now preparing for when the time comes to take matters into their own hands....American citizens are tired of the crap. The gov. doesn't want to do their jobs and ENFORCE the LAWS then the citizens will do it for them !!!!!
AND if the rest of the world does NOT like it then they can come over here and take the illegals back to their countries....sound like a plan to you? Are you ready for 20 million + illegal aliens living in your country. You can pay for their education and health care and for some other state benefits.....how's that sound to you ?? Come on over and get them.....we will have them ready for you !!!!

While I agree that we are advantaged as Americans, I don't think all of us scream for help when we see disadvantaged people. I think we just sometimes don't know how to react to extreme poverty, because even the poor in the US have a decent standard of living compared to many around the world. Yes, we do have blinders on when it comes to seeing the conditions in many other countries. Many of us are taught to help those at home first, so we only contribute to US-based charity organizations. Maybe we do need to take off the blinders and see the larger world around us, but insulting us won't encourage us to do that.

The problem is two-fold. When we have illegals come into our country, the first thing they do is have children so they cannot be deported. We are required as a nation to support them at a time when most Americans who were born here cannot qualify for the health insurance and the benefits the poorest of the poor can get if they have kids.
The other half of the problem is the employers who hire illegals and DO NOT HELP THEM BECOME LEGAL. It is not in their interest to help them because LEGAL immigrants can demand higher wages. And because illegals are stuck working for low wages and the supply of illegals seems to be endless, this problem will not get corrected.
The best way to correct the problem, actually, is to pour more money and industry into Mexico and make it the place to be. Of course, then we have to deal with the other immigrant states....

I am not afraid of anyone. But these poor hungry people are costing us 68 billion a year trying to make a better life for themselves. They are breaking our laws, they are taxing our schools, they are not integrating into the community, they don't want to learn the language, They are overloading our prisons and our court systems, they costing our hospitals multitudes of millions that could be spent on Americans. Sorry......I feel for them, like I feel for the poor souls in Africa. They need to work to fix their own country. I haven't been convinced yet, any new argument?

I have no problem with barefooted Mexicans - as long as they have a green card, that is. I am all for immigration and coming here through the proper channels. I am not for sneaking in and taking advantage without paying taxes here or taking the time to learn about our laws, language, and constitution first.

The ones screaming for help are the same ones that don’t want to allow our powerful military to turn lose on them at the border. If the military were given to okay to stop them as they cross, we would not have a problem to scream about….what a silly question!

I love the way the Illegals are portrayed. Excuse me, you have no f'n idea what you're talking about. I moved out of a suburb of Chicago that was 70% Hispanic and 70% of those we illegals. they were not barefoot, they were not hungry, they were not poor when they came over. Truth be told, all they want is money to take back home in a few years/decades. They could give a crap about our laws, society, moral codes, etc. They do not want to become part of American society, only to reap it's benefits (at legal taxpayers expense) and go "HOME". To say(insinuate) we as American have no pitty is grave misrepresentation! We do not like FREELOADERs and lawbreakers!

No Americans are not afraid of hungry people. If we can't exploit them for money, then we'll exploit them for labor. And if we can't exploit them for labor, then we'll exploit the natural resources of their land. None of this has much to do with the American people. But unfortunately, we can't deny that the American politicians are Americans.
