I cant tell anyone cause my mom doesnt understand and i dont wanna be sent off. What do i do? What can I do?

cutting is a fairly common disorder - i used to do it. it doesn't solve any thing, and if this cut is infected, it can only make things worse. where is the cut? if you get gangrene, you cant believe how bad it can get. better to have a pissed off mom that to have some body part rot off - at which point your mom will find out any way. might as well bite the bullet. if youre tough enough to cut yourself, u can sure handle an angry mom. my wife is a HS teacher, and she deals with cutters all the time. she cares about her students. most of the time, there is someone who wants to help - and they will if you will let them. you gotta trust somebody. go to a teacher that everyone (even punks and such) speaks highly of. every school has one.
you may also email me if you want a little less public forum to talk about it. if you are embarrasse about the location of the cut, that is understandable - but you really cant afford to wait on this one. drop me a line now and lets figure out a good solution to this problem. please.

Are you a cutter? Or was this an accident?
If it is still bleeding it is because you needed stitches at the time of the incident. Usually something would not be yellow from infection within three days but it is hard to know without seeing it. You need medical attention. I am sorry your mom is not understanding, but you are going to need to tell someone in order to get medical attention. If you have a grandparent who is around, that may be a good option for you. I don't know if you have a school nurse in your school (or if she is nice) but that might be an option until your family can get you medical attention.
If you are a cutter, try telling your mom you need to talk to someone. If she does not understand, she doesn't have to, you can speak to a professional.
If this is a cutting problem, please get help before it gets worse. I know a 16 year old girl who is now in an inpatient facility out of state. She has been there almost a year. Hopefully she will be well and be home soon.

BE SENT OFF? where ? put peroxide on it 2 keep infection down. keep pressure on the cut 2 help stop the bleeding, then a band aid. i hope the razor was a clean 1. and Y & where r u, that has u so afraid of ur mother? if u need any kind of help, that we here on the web can give u, dont b shy in asking. we re here 4 u, even if ur mom isnt. good luck & dont b afraid if u R a cutter, [i was] the pain u felt that took away ur problems 4 a minuet or 2, will go away. no matter how many times u cut urself, in order 2' survive' does not work in the long run. u will just end up with a lot of scarS. talk 2 some1 who u think wiil listen & help u thru. if no 1 else, talk 2 a minister. u dont hve 2 go 2 church or even b of that faith, they will help u. thats who i talked with. and i got the help i really needed. Solution 1-peroxide and a bandage. Say a tree bit you (fell or something, hit a sharp peice of bark, and do it so it will make it true). Solution 2-afterwards, do what I do and use a plastic knife. Its enough for the good pain, not as much blood, looks like a dog scratch which is good for excuses, and there is small chance if it getting deep to where you need stitches. Give it a try. Unfortunatly it wasn't enough on my wrist but hey, there's always tomorrow.

Were you shaving or are you a cutter. It sounds infected, and if you did it on purpose, you need some help. Go to the doctor immediately. Obviously if your mom will send you off, there is definitely a problem in the house. You might want to seek counseling.

My brother had a same situation where he cut himself and was dripping blood. My dad was furious but took him to the hospital for stitches and that is what you are going to need if it is a deep cut. Tell your mom and all will be well in time.

You have an infection and need help in more ways than one. You won't be sent off. You will get help with the wound and with your repressed anger and depression. Tell her now.

You need to go to the doctor.. and let your mom know so she can get you the psychological help you need... best of luck ooh and until you can get to the doctor clean it with peroxide and put Triple Antibiotic Ointment on it (neosporine) (sp?)
