The same way Bush does not represent the average Catholic (at least that's my impression) Osama bin Laden does not represent the average Muslim..

So it seems like Bush isn't catholic after all? People here have said Christian, Methodist, Evangelic!... wonder what religion he follows.
No, I am not saying Osama is a good man... if he exists, naturally ;)

Honey, he's not Catholic, he's Evengelical. But he's off kinda doing his own thing, and it embarrasses the rest of us!

It's wrong to hold one person up and say that this person represents this whole group... I wouldn't think that all Muslims wanted to be suicide bombers if there was only 1 doing it... but when you look at the big picture.... there's a large portion of the Islamic population that either participates in or supports terrorism therefore saying that bin Laden represents radical Islam is not a stretch...
By the way, Bush is not a Catholic... He's Methodist... the only Catholic president the U.S. has ever had was John F. Kennedy.

You're right--Osama does not represent the average muslim, just as the leader of the KKK does not represent Christianity or the American opinion of Black people. However, BUSH IS NOT CATHOLIC! Bush is a Chrisitian.

President Bush isn't Catholic. He's Methodist.
His brother Jeb (governor of Florida) converted to Catholicism. But the president himself has not.
JFK is the only Catholic president we've ever had, so far.

Bush might be a good catholic, i dont know, but one things certian;
