Raise up as in frizz? Use something like Frizzease or Silk therape. Raise up as in too poofy, try letting your hair air dry instead of a hair dryer or dont use such a large brush when blow drying.

There's an old hair gel that you can still purchase in drugstores. It's called Brilcream. You just need a little dab and it's good for all day.

Apply SILK THEREPY (found at HEB or any department store) after a shower to damp hair. It not only flattens and unfrizzes but it lives up to its name as well.

try hair gel or spray. if that doesn't work, use shampoos that are labeled 'frizz control' or 'for straight hair' or something.

you could blow dry it straight when it is still' damp
or you could try "fizz ease hair syrum"
