Oh, OK. So god had not yet invented parting water. That makes perfect sense.

Read the account in Genesis, it not a whole lot of reading. The world had become so corrupt and violent that God decided to destroy mankind. But Noah was such a good man that God decided to save him and his family and all who would listen to him. Since nobody listened only Noah and his family were saved from the flood. Moses didn't part the Red Sea for several hundred years later.

Well if you're going to look at things like that then you'd better check the Bible again. Noah came way before Moses so technically it'd be Moses perfecting the whole arc thing.

If you are going to ask these questions you should read the bible so you know what you're talking about. Man was so evil. He decided to destroyed man, but there was a man that was righteous...Noah.
Moses parted the Nile River during the Exodus of the Jews from Egyptian bondage. I think you're just being silly. That's OK.

Noah came before Moses. Same book, different stories.

God had presented Noah with a task to build the ark in order to save his family and paired animals of the world in order to start over. Noah demonstrated his faith in God by building it despite the criticism from his friends and neighbors. He was saved because of his faith in God and God's word.

Hundreds of years later, Moses was presented with the task of bringing thousands of people across a desert to the Promised Land. They also thought he was mad, but his faith in God had saved him and the people from attack and from the sea.

God presents us with tasks each day. The more we answer and follow HIs commands, the more we are saved from our demise. When He does take us out of this world, He will offer us a paradise.

Keep your faith, it is the one thing that pleases Him daily!

the building of the Arc, was a testimonial to Noah's humility to obey God, as well as a proof against those who mocked him when he explained that he had been so ordered to do.God is free of the false things people ascribe to Him! A word to the ignorant -PEACE!

Maybe you need to read your Bible..The great flood was first! Noah obeyed what God told him to do..and because of that obedience, him and his family were saved.

Moses was totally different..people were in bondage as slavery overtook the Israelites..they needed deliverance from their slavery...so God sent Moses...again..because of Moses' obedience..many were set free.

Noah built an ark, not a curved shape.
