High protein foods are the kind that have 10 or more grams of protein per serving. Tuna, chicken breast, legumes, eggs, nuts are the most common choices. There is a rather comprehensive list of various foods and their protein vs fat content at http://www.heartspring.net/list_of_high_protein_foods.html. Another good list is at http://www.weightlossforall.com/rotein_content_from_good_source.htm. Just remember that a serving of meat is roughly the size of a deck of cards and fat content is also very important.
