i will suggest not use'n a hairspray because it will just get hard unless you get a really GOOD flexible hold kind, but for me i havent found one yet, so ya... lol... i have wavey hair and this is what i do.... well mayb for you you can use some ati-frizz serum, and then put some moose through out your hair then blow dry it.... and use a straightener to straighten it...... you may have to pass the straightener a couple of times over your hair, and might i add when you are straightening it do it in small sections.... one all your hair is straight try lightly sprizing it with a flexable hair spray not really suggested but mayb it will help if its a good one, and you could also put a little more anti-frizz serum. If this doesnt work on its own then there are also straightening shampoo's and conditiioners that you can also try before you try this step!! Hope it works! Take care!

This works trust me, it just needs to be done at least every other day if you have "white" hair, because it begins to get oily. If you rarely wash your hair because of the type of hair you have....wow, it will last a long time and I'm jealous!!! BUY A CHI !!! It's the ceramic hair straightner all the hair sylists have or wish they had. It's expensive, but it's worth it!!! Trade Secret sells it, Sally Beauty Supply does not. Avg price is 118.00. If it ever breaks it will be fixed all you pay is shipping. It's that good. I have used my old straightner on half my head then the CHI and it's a huge difference, Smooth and shiny without chemicals added to your hair like serums. FYI: if you use it a lot more than you wear your hair curly, you will eventually dry your hair out and your curls won't be as bouncy they will have fallen a bit and you will feel you need to add a little bit of shine to it.

Well are you black or white that could have something to do with it. But either way it goes you can get a perm. But if u r black i don't suggest doing it your self. go c a perfessional and if you have curly hair the perm will make it stay straight. But make sure u want it straight because once u get the perm it'll take at least a year 4 the chemical to grow all the way out of your hair and make it straight agian. unless u have short hair. But really don't try 2 perm your own hair it could fall out trust me i know people it happened 2. good luck ;)

I am a dancer too and I've tried many times to keep it straight. Nothing worked! So I relaxed my hair with a mild product for little girls called Just For Me - worked great for me, my hair doesn't frizz up anymore! Plus I still can go curly but just more manageable!!! Just be careful to read all directions it is a chemical!

You could always hot wax your hair and stairghten it. You could do that every morning to make it stay down and won't go curly again during the day I'm guessing as long as you don't wet it.
