Why is pubic hair colour lighter than body or head hair colour?

it depends on the genetics of the person whats on bottom can be lighter or darker...about 50% either way

It is usually darker though I suppose the sun does bleach head hair in some people..

i have brown hair and my pubic hair is red i wish it was the other way round
