I have to worst, out of control, curly hair. The best products i've found so far are Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave In Conditioner(it smells good too) and Biosilk Silk Therapy. I've been using the silk therapy for only a week, but my hair has never been so soft and frizz free. Also, it doesn't make my hair feel dirty, and hair is straighter after it dries. Good Luck!

I wouldn't take any advice from any of those people with pictures of someone with straight hair, you can't see my picture, but I have very curly hair and it's frizzy, I am bi-racial and my hair is a trip! I say to try different shampoos and conditioners with hydration, I use dove it's cheaper, but it works, then depending on what you want to do to your hair use other things. I say always, always moisturize your hair when it's damp out of the shower, with frizz controlling serums or oil conditioners, Then mix in alittle light gel, especially if you want to keep your hair curly and frizz free. If you want it straight it's important to put the frizz control in when it's damp, then it won't be as hard to straighten, and when you're done add alittle extra anti-humectant pomade to your hair. It keeps the humidity off.

You need first a shampoo and conditioner first. Just for curly hair. I would not buy something cheap from the drugstore, sunsilk,pantene... etc. Then get a curl gel or puddy. One called jessis hair puddy rumored to be very good. It is a little pricy. You can order that at sephora. com .I heard it works really well to get good curls and anti-friz. I use a product called deva curl. It is available online but it works wonders also.

I wouild suggest Cholestrol treatments. You can buy this product in most chain or drug stores or beauty suppliers. It really works miracles. And if you cant find that , condition with Mayonaisse. Sounds yukky , but it works. Saturate dry hair with mayo, leave on for an hour, then wash.

I have the same issue. It takes me longer to get my curls to look good than to just straighten it. So for most of my adult life I have been straightening my hair. Ughhh its so frustrating. Especially in the summer when its hot and you wish you could just wear it curly instead of drying it and causing all of that damage. grrrrrr!

spray water into your hair (put water in to a spray bottle) and style with your hands. run your hands through it and press into it with your fingers and palms.

i have wavy hair and that is what i do to keep it as curly as possible. i don't trust the brands with their chemicals, because in the long end it could destroy my hair or make it fall out.

I just bought a Maxi-Glide - it has teeth that comb while it straightens - I don't just use it to get my hair straight, but it really tames it, and makes it very shiny.
