Do they not realize that they each follow Abrahamic religions, that technically worship the same God? What is it going to take for us to live in peace with one another?

I disagree with many of you. I think that unfortunately the trance of religion causes many of us to forget history--In fact, to those of us in the rest of the word (yeah, the other 3 billion people that exist on the face of the earth), who have studied history and understand it, we know that the fact is Jews, Christians, Bahai' Faith, Muslims each worship the same god...they follow a an Abrahamic religion with semitic origins, that may have been interpreted 1000 times over, but ultimately share the same heritage and history from the same part of the world. Evangelism and the spread of peoples through out various nations obviously has changed the face of each religion (either for better or worse), but that doesnt erase what we know to be history. Allah is simply the Arabic language word meaning "God" or, more specifically (based on the Qu'ran) "the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob"... The word "Allah" is even in Indonesian translations of the Holy Bible. So, whats it going to take folks?

By the way folks, do we forget that Christians wage wars (the Crusades), Jews and Muslims suffer alike (Lebanon has sustained many times more deaths in comparison to Isreal), and that there are many many other terrorist organizations out there that are not Muslims. Do you know that Islam is the 2nd largest monotheistic religion in the world, of which only a fraction (20% are Arab), of which, only another fraction are fundamentalist Muslims or Jihadist? The fact is, that all of us, regardless of religion or creed are human beings ultimately, and we have to come up with some kind of way to live in peace? After all, what are we fighting about to begin with? In the words of my leader and prophet, The Fonz, "ehhhhh?"
