Nope! If he can put up with her, he's a better man than me, and my hat is off to him! If he lives with her for awhile, he'll think I was the best man in the world, for putting up with her for 25 years! I couldn't care less who she dates.....poor sucker!

It all depends on the intensity of your emotions. If you like/loved him a lot, it will take longer to forget but YES you will get jealous and care about it.
I broke up last year with my ex for 9 months after a 2.5 year relationship, and during all those 9 months I hated to think he was happier with other women then me. I used to get jealous and call him to find out what he was doing. He works with me so it's hard not to find out who he was with or not.
After a while, he came back to me and we started dating but the relationship is not as solid b/c he tried other fishes in the sea. So, to comfort you, yes... it will bother you and that's normal if there was a connection and you were serious about the relationship.
other people say no b/c they were not serious. Everyone will feel something different so if you feel that way is b/c you have not gotten over him yet. Give it time and soon you wont care anymore.

The only reason I care who my ex dates is cuz of the kids. I don't want him to have them around a psycho that can hurt them emotionally or physically. If she's ok, then I could care less.

Yes, you don't want them to be with anyone before you. Eventually this feeling goes away. It also depends on the break up. I broke up with this cheating biatch so I never want to see her happy. Then another girl was just not into making out and all, but I don't wish her bad luck.

I guess I am a jealous type...I really do care if my ex is dating someone new...Maybe because they are the ones who dumped me or we are still friends. It makes me wonder what she has that I didn't have.

Only if I still have a jones going on for him. If I am truly glad to be out of the relationship, then it's good riddance and I'm relieved that he is someone else's headache. But if I still want him to some degree, it might bother me.

Yes and no. I am curious to know who he is dating and if it's serious. A little territorial (secretly), as I find it hard to accept that one day a new girl will get to know him like I did. And she'll memorize all of his quirks and such. It's hard, but I want him to be happy, so I deal:)

It depends how the break up was. If I were the one dumped then of course I would be jealous if he were dating someone else. It also depends how much time has gone be since the break up.

We can all say no, but it does prick a little when you see your ex with someone new especially if you haven't moved on. But that goes away pretty quickly.
