i assume you are male since you say "only" 5'6" is actually the average height of men in north america, so you aren't short
but you are obviously anxious about this, unfortunately. yes, you can grow into your early twenties. i would say that you could still grow several inches before you're finished, but it isn't likely that you will grow more than 1-2 inches further. be happy with yourself and don't fret over something that will mean absolutely nothing to you in a few years' time......so many other and important things to worry about, eh? god bless

Depends are you male or female? Girls usually stop growing by the time they are in the eighth or ninth grade. Guys usually grow until they are 21yrs old. I am the same height I was in the 8th grade. My sons have kept growing all the way until their 20 or 21st birthday. You probably won't grow alot but some.

Why does the "How tall will I improve?" question save showing up?? we've not got crystal balls and we don't tell fortunes. you will develop into as tall as you would be. it particularly is a results of foodstuff and genetics. you have already reached maximum folk of your top. the strengthen plates on your long bones will fuse between now and the age of 18. After that, no further strengthen will take place.

I was suppose to have stoped growing at age 11 when i got my period, now i'm older, and i'm 5'9'' when i was 11, i was 5'2'' so yes you can grow, but it won't be like a lot. You probably won't grow taller then 6 feet, maybee I don't know like 5'11''

Its " very " possible!
Buddy of mine was a shrimp, until he was almost 18, then he shot up a foot! Now, he is 6'2" and is taller than I am...
Also, his buddy was a shrimp like him, and they hung out together all the time because they were small, and he is like my bud, over 6 foot tall too... Me, being at 5'8" used to make fun of them both...ROTFLOL!!! Now, I am the "midget" of the bunch..sheesh! :)
I wish you well..
