i found my boyfriend this summer, he lives in the village we bought a holiday house in so i go back there every holiday but i live in Moscow russia and now i am not going 2 c him 4 6 months!! He made me promis not 2 get with any other guys and did the same 4 me, he says that he loves me and will miss alot. But 6 months is a long time!! Do u think he will b able 2 wait that long?

Yes if you truly love each other. Suggest you stay in regular contact by email and / or telephone. Your intuition will tell you how the relationship is going and whether it will last.
By the way, I married a Russian woman and we were apart for many months at different times in our relationship. It took time to get married and then to bring her to Canada. Everything was fine. Write me if you want any advice.

I really can't say. Because I don't know how long you guys have been together. But IF you really love him and he really loves you one of you will make a sacrafice and go down to live with the other. NO matter how much trouble It will cause you. True love dose not wait for any one. It can never become true love unless you are willing to do any thing for the ones you love. Stay with him. Be by his sides at all times. Even if you loose every thing at least you will be to gether. That is what truely matters. If you are with some one you love nothing else matters any more

I really believe that at the moment when all the feelings are fresh, you both meant your commitment to each other. But as time goes on, you will start to lose that excitement because you are not in physical contact with each other. I would see how it works out, all things are possible. But I wouldn't bet on it lasting, since I get a feeling that you both are very young.

i think if u 2 really like each other it would last if u trust each other but no chances that it really will
my friend say its not going to really work out cause he mightt see someone else in the 6 months...

I highly doubt that he is in love with you. The relationship is still new and you are still getting to know each other. Whether it lasts or not, that;s completly up to the two of you.

honestly, the chances are low. that is a lot of time away from eachother. if you love one another cant you find ways to see eachother? they say,"absence makes the heart grow stronger" i dont know if it is true. i would just be close friends/lovers/homeys untill one of you is in the postion to move by eachother..good luck
