one of my guy friends came over yesterday and told me that he has to tell me something. he was acting very nervous and in the end he could not get it out. we agreed that he will tell me on the phone. any idea what i should expect?

I agree with all the good non sexually oriented answers. The guy probably likes you and was too nervous to tell you in person. Or he's done something bad and needs to let you know. Or he knows something about you or himself or some one else and needs to get the cat out of the bag so to speak. Only he knows. So ready yourself and listen when he does call. I hope and think it's probably him simply liking you but he can can't cannot say it in person. Lucky you.

Just call him and ask. If he cannot spit it out, then tell him that he is wasting your time and not to bother you anymore. You might want to offer the advice that he is not going to get far in life if he cannot muster the courage to express himself. If he still cannot spit it out then, do yourself a favour and forget about him. Don't waste your life worring about insecure men. You will only be asking for trouble. While you might find it endearing at first, it will get old quickly when his behaviour (controlling, possessive, abusive) continues to exhibit his insecurities

He's in love with you, he wants you to be his for the rest of his life, but he can't tell you, Well he can but his words are stuck..You need to help him out a bit....I bet his hands were sweaty and he felt very tense and Butterflies were flying and flying! man I can feel it already the feel of "I want to...No!...Yes! do it...No? yeah? I never mind I will tell her over the phone were she can't see me!...yeah that's right! where I can express my feelings! (raises eyebrow) You know the answer already don't you! (smiles)

maybe he likes you and can not find the words to say it because he is someone that can talk to you openly. so maybe he wants to say that he likes you but something that he told you is making him stop. If it was any more serious then I think that he would tell you.
