Once a dentist said that he never gave anyone as much gas as he was giving me....he said that I could get sick and throw up....have you ever had too much gas...and did you?

Different people can tolerate different concentrations, so it is important that your dentist ease you into your first experience to find out what works best for you. Too much or too fast will cause nausea.
The maximum concentration of nitrous is 70%, as you have to have a minimum of 30% oxygen. Most people would find this too much, but I have a few patients who need that level to get the desired effect, and are quite happy with it.

No, I never threw up but I did float on a high for hrs! And my Parents had to keep a watch on me.
