My family, like millions of other American families, has shed blood to protect nations that now trash us. It's a slow burning, deep resentment that I feel each time I hear some idiot call us warmongers. I know we will be the first place they turn to when Islamic fascists are sipping coffee in their capital.

Dear Paul l: Should the world's most powerful nation ignore a dicator who kills hundreds of thousands of his own people and threatens the peace with it's nieghboring countries? This is warmongering and interference?

I love the original spirit of America, the country which was forged in the hearts of Paine and Jefferson and Washington, the America of Whitman, Thoreau, Emerson, the Constitution, freedom for all.

I still believe that as far as human freedom and dignity is concerned, what happens in the great experiment of America is of central importance to the world. If America tries to turn the rest of the world into a big America, then we will lose so much. This is the Project for the New American Century, which the current administration is following.

But I think that it has become greedy and paranoid and war-mongering. I think it it hurt, and this is partly why its foreign policy is so negative. What is the original spirit of America? Does it still exist today? What does America think of the rest of the world? It strikes me that the same Americans who get most angry at anti-American sentiments are people who think the least of other countries in the world. If you want to understand what's going on better, watch the Power of Nightmares, a documentary by the BBC. You'll learn a lot.

i'm so, so sorry you're dealing with this. Alcoholics do no longer magically get extra effective on their own. Your dad desires help and the only way he's going to get it truly is in case you tell somebody. definite - he's hurting yet so are you - you misplaced your mom and a loving dad. you do no longer deserve this existence - your place might desire to be a shelter from a no longer uncomplicated day at college - no longer a terrifying place to come back abode to. Do you have any kinfolk - grandparents, aunts/uncles, even close acquaintances you will possibly desire to confer with - or maybe temporarily stay with at the same time as your dad works by using his problems? If no longer, tell the instructor you have been waiting to chat to that your waiting for protecting centers to be referred to as in. If he does not do something, locate that counselor, tell your crucial, visit a church, call protecting centers your self. the outcomes - you would be positioned right into a foster abode that would desire to recommend the two a extra effective or a worse concern - it is going to likely be unknown till you till you're taking that brave step. maximum folk have misplaced kinfolk - your selfish dad has to get a grip and snap out it it! we are all human and are finally going to die - that don't have been a marvel to him till he's been living under a rock. with any luck component of his therapeutic will contain embracing God so the way forward for existence after dying is a comforting concept. --------------------------------------..... Please do what Momoburns shows!

Yes it does get on my nerves too. What people who say these things fail to realize is that we are all individuals and as unique and different as the people making the comments. These people really need to aim their frustration and hostility towards our government, not its people. These same people probably have never met an American or been to America. All their knowledge of our country's people comes from television and other unreliable sources(stereotypes) from which they make their judgment. All you can do is ignore it. But yes this stuff is old, and I too am tired.

I've just learned to consider the source; ignorance. Emotions without facts.

They have the right to their opinions, but for some reason, the other side (the Libs) seem to forget that we conservatives have the same right. Don't let it get you down...there are a whole lot more people that love this country and our values than there are ones who hate us (in America, I mean; other countries, WELLLLL, that's another story altogether.)

hahahahhaha!!!!!!!! Get use to it. The whole world hates America at some point.

I hate it for introducing me to POKEMON - perhaps I should direct that to JAPAN!!!!

Seriously though, a country is a living breathing entitiy and people will always have opinions about it. PLUS you need to know that there is the America you live in and the America that buts into other countries and tries to dictate policies to them...That's the America MOST people HATE!!!!!

See United States Foreign Policy since the Civil War to get an idea.

It is not a hate America BS. It is Hate America acts. eg. Our news today "New Orleons 12 months on" where are the yanks?
helping restructure in countries they have bombed the structures of. New Orleons was a freak of nature yet The Americans wont fix it. Restructuring their enemies infrastructure is a hoot, [they were enemies they bombed weren't they] it will probably be re-bombed before the ink dries on their Binding agreements to stop killing themselves and their neighbours kids or anything else that moves`.
Hail to the Commander in Chief, love him, laughter is the best medicine they say. He is funny his actions are not.

Yep, I am too. If only those who live in America that say they hate America realized how good we have it. Just think how those haters would feel if they lived in a country where they had no food, no running water, no electricity, or no rights to complain on the Internet!

Nah - it keeps the morons off the roads and out of the stores, leaving more room for the rest of us.

Besides, they need an outlet - they have no life to speak of so they've gotta get it out somewhere (other than in the bathroom, I mean).
