what is wrong?
u can email me if you like - i have been there - all the way there and back.
you end up in this place where the only voice you hear is the one telling you "nothing will ever be alright again. it's better if i go."
that sound about right?
i have been there. drop me a line.
there is one more thing that voice tells you : "no one else can understand" - dont listen to it. it is a total lie. a lot of people have been there already - if youre going down a new road, it makes sense to talk to someone who's travelled it already - doesn't it?

You can call 911 and tell the dispatcher what you've told us. You may end up on a 72-hr hold in a psych facility. This works whether or not you have health insurance. If you do have insurance, contact customer service and get the number of mental health services to schedule an emergency consultation with a psychiatrist. But this can take time. Here are two phone numbers, 24/7: 800-784-2433 if feeling suicidal and 800-273-8255 if you just need to talk to someone. Please use them.

I don't know how old you are, but there is help. Call your local mental health department. If you have a doctor, call them. If you are a teen, there are a couple of online sites that are good. Teenhelp.org and boystown.org both have online chatlines with counselors ready to help you. You took the first step by writing here, take the next step and make a call. Suicide is not the answer, it won't stop the pain. You will be gone and what is left for those who love you? I know that in a depressed state of mind, it is hard to make ourselves believe anyone cares, but someone does.

ive been dealing with depression for many years, and i was suicidal with scars to prove. if you are still living with your parents, you should talk to one and let them know what is going on. make a doctor's appointment and get some help. a lot of times depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in your brain that is easily fixed with medication. also you should consider seeing a therapist, it really does help. but remember, not everything that you try first is going to fix it, but that doesnt mean that you should give up. there are plenty of reasons to want to live. you should try listing out all the good things and focusing on them, and try to take your mind off suicide.

Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Ive had two suicides in my family and it is the most selfish act a human can perform. You dont think about all the people you leave behind and all the guilt feelings that they will experience. PLEASE find you a good therapist or just call someone you trust and TALK TO THEM!!!!! Good luck and God Bless you!!

Suicide is a permanent solution to what is ALWAYS a temporary problem. Life isn't meant to be easy. In fact the hardest times in life will eventually prove to be your most meaningful and rewarding when you look back on them.
I believe you- you do need help. But this forum isn't going to be able to do it for you. You need to speak with a professional therapist. Someone who you feel comfortable with and who understands you. Talk to your family and friends to find someone right for you.

what's going on sweetie? How can I help you? Please dont think suicide is the only answer.Trust me I have been there. The docs have diagnosed me once with suicidal idealtion a very long time ago, since then I have been able to work out the issues but i still know at times what its like too feel like giving up.
God has started a good work in you hun and he will see it through.I was sent this excerpt several years ago and it has helped me tremendously. Please read it through...........
"Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God" (Isa. 40:1).
Store up comfort. This was the prophet's mission. The world is full of comfortless hearts, and ere thou art sufficient for this lofty ministry, thou must be trained. And thy training is costly in the extreme; for, to render it perfect, thou too must pass through the same afflictions as are wringing countless hearts of tears and blood. Thus thy own life becomes the hospital ward where thou art taught the Divine art of comfort. Thou art wounded, that in the binding up of thy wounds by the Great Physician, thou mayest learn how to render first aid to the wounded everywhere. Dost thou wonder why thou art passing through some special sorrow? Wait till ten years are passed, and thou wilt find many others afflicted as thou art. Thou wilt tell them how thou hast suffered and hast been comforted; then as the tale is unfolded, and the anodynes applied which once thy God wrapped around thee, in the eager look and the gleam of hope that shall chase the shadow of despair across the soul, thou shalt know why thou wast afflicted, and bless God for the discipline that stored thy life with such a fund of experience and helpfulness.

You need to see your Doctor, anti-depressants really have helped people, including me. I would call a friend , relative, preacher. If all else call 911. You will be fine you recognize you are in need of help. My doctor told me this. People who feel this way do not recognize the symptoms. You have a level head on your shoulders so please Talk to someone. God Bless You !
ps. You are down but look at all the people you would hurt. It is not worth it. Please get help 911 please.......

I can tell you not to do it. Nothing is worth losing your life over. I've been there and was saved. Go see a therapist, find one you feel comfortable with and it will really help. Your insurance should help cover it.
