The engine is the final element that desires to get replaced in a automobile. once you're procuring a automobile that desires a clean engine, you may wager the the remainder of it is likewise shot. do no longer purchase it! the only valid clarification for changing an engine is that if the chassis is from a classic automobile, that is somewhat worth distinctive funds. the different run of the mill automobile will no longer be worth it. the version between 4 and six cylinders is how lots capacity you may generate. that is all a query of engineering. frequently 4 cylinder engines have a smaller displacement than 6 cylinder engines. (i.e. If each and each cylinder is the comparable length, 4 cylinders displace decrease than 6 cylinders) this would recommend that a 4 cylinder engine would would desire to run speedier to generate the comparable capacity as a 6 cylinder engine. through fact of this 4 cylinder autos run at a extra robust RPM to flow your automobile on the comparable velocity. although in case you do no longer choose each and all the capacity of all 6 cylinders each and all the time, and each and each cycle of a 6 cylinder engine will burn off extra gasoline. in case you have been in basic terms idling the automobile, the 6 cylinder engine burns extra gasoline than a 4 cylinder engine. this would replace as you enhance up the automobile to a definite crossover element, while the 6 cylinder automobile starts turning out to be extra valuable, and the 4 cylinder reaches the shrink of ways lots capacity it may generate. So, the quick answer is definite, 4 cylinders is in general extra valuable than 6, on the cost of much less obtainable capacity, and shorter engine existence. Flex gasoline autos are autos which could use the two ethanol and gasoline, and mixes of the two gasoline.

It'll go back to 000000. However, most ordinary cars are designed to last 100,000 miles before they seriously start wearing out, so if you keep your car for a million miles you have probably wasted a lot of money on repairs. Or your car is a railway engine, which typically does 1 - 2 million miles in its lifetime.

I cant believe you have done a milllion miles.
old trips will click over and start again, but computerized ones who knows?
I can tell you that Ford would want to know if you did achieve that mileage. Most modern Ford engines are good for 100 to 120k miles

Depends upon what Ford...
Most will go to 000000 again...
older trucks (namely the 92-97 F-series) will get stuck at 400k and acutally replay at 300k (Ie- instead of reading 400001, it will read 300001) Known issue with them... Ford must have thought no one would find out:-)

not much but watch as it resets to 000000.
that's what people mean when they say a car has been round the clock once, it means the clock has reset from lots of miles

It will never go that far. You are being a bit over optormistic
but if it did the speedo would read 000000 as that would roll over after 9999999

The clock resets to zero, and you make a lot of money selling it by claiming it has very low mileage.
